Cichanoŭskaja sets off for Brussels

June 27, BPN. Opposition leader Śviatłana Cichanoŭskaja is heading for Brussels to discuss how to prevent Belarus from turning into a Russian colony, according to her Telegram channel.

She announced meetings with Charles Michel, president of the European Council, and the European Union’s top diplomat Josep Borrell.

She said her cabinet was already preparing for the NATO summit to be held in Vilnius on July 11 and 12.

“We will promote the topic of Belarus on the international agenda, discuss mechanisms for bringing Łukašenka to justice and countering the deployment of nuclear weapons, and the security strategy of our region. And, of course, we’ll call on international partners to act. We must demonstrate determination and unity,” Cichanoŭskaja said.
