Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,493
March 1, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 1,527 from 919,736 on Monday to 921,263 on Tuesday, with the death toll rising by 13 from 6,480 to 6,493, according to the country’s health ministry.
The ministry said that a total of 909,667 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 439 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.
As many as 12,444,066 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Monday, with 5,257 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.
As of February 28, as many as 5,658,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 5,044,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
