Belarus’ experienced coldest winter in 15 years

March 12, Pozirk. Belarus saw the coldest winter in the last 15 years this year with an average temperature of minus 5.7 degrees Celsius, which is lower by 2.3 degrees than the normal level, found Pozirk’s analysis of data from Biełhidramiet.

The 2010/11 winter was colder with an average temperature of minus 6.3C.

The coldest winter on record is 1939/40 with an average temperature of minus 10.9.
