Rubel down against US dollar, euro, yuan at BCSE

August 24, Pozirk. The rubel has weakened to 2.982 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency has also dropped to 3.4811 per euro and to 4.4517 per 10 yuan but climbed to 3.5955 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (August 17 – August 21), the rubel strengthened by 0.5 percent against the dollar and 0.68 percent against the yuan but weakened by 0.83 percent against the euro and 0.78 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 0.37 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2026.
