Hrodna region’s motorized riflemen drill to repel saboteur attack

July 28, BPN. The 105th Detached Mechanized Battalion based in Słonim, Hrodna region, has conducted a field training exercise, its Telegram channel has reported.

The unit practiced deployment, crossing contaminated terrain and mine fields and fighting off an attack by an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group, the message said.

Since mid-July, Russian Wagner Group instructors have been involved in training Belarusian troops.

On July 25, the Belarusian defense ministry reported a joint exercise involving Wagner fighters and Belarusian regular forces with a focus on the survival of troops in combat operations.
