July 13, BPN. Belarusian opposition figure Śviatłana Cichanoŭskaja told US President Joe Biden that Belarusians “continue to fight for the liberation of their country” yesterday in Vilnius, where the two leaders came for a NATO summit.
“I am glad that we can to talk privately about what is really important to us. Belarusians can count on US support,” she said on Telegram.
Earlier in the day, Biden had urged the peoples of Belarus, Georgia and Moldova to fight for a better future.
The two leaders last met on July 28, 2021.
