Łukašenka denies intention to use nukes
July 6, BPN. Belarus is not going to attack anyone with nuclear weapons, Alaksandr Łukašenka has told foreign journalists.
“Don’t bother us and forget about the nuclear weapons but our response will be immediate if you commit aggression,” Pul Pervogo, his press office’s unofficial Telegram channel, quoted him as saying. “The targets have been determined.”
Both Belarus and Russia ensure perfect control over tactical nuclear weapons, Łukašenka noted.
On June 27, the Belarusian ruler said that a significant part of the Russian nuclear arsenal intended for Belarus was already in the country.
A week later, Ukraine could not confirm the delivery of the first batch of Russian nukes to Belarus.
