Equatorial Guinea’s president postpones Minsk visit
June 26, BPN. The Belarus visit of Equatorial Guinea’s President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, scheduled for June 25 and 26, has been postponed “to a later date,” Pul Pervogo, an unofficial Telegram channel of Alaksandr Łukašenka’s press office, reported.
Belarusian side expects that the visit would take place as soon as parties agree on the new dates, said foreign ministry spokesman Anatol Hłaz.
The reasons for the postponement have not been disclosed.
Łukašenka’s press office announced Mbasogo’s visit on June 24. The talks were supposed to focus on the industrial and agricultural sectors of Belarus. Authorities also planned to sign a package of bilateral agreements on economic, humanitarian and other ties.
