June 23, BPN. The Belarusian rubel has depreciated against the US dollar to 2.9886 at the June 23 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
It also fell against the Russian currency to 3.5653 per 100 rubles but climbed against the Chinese yuan to 4.1379.
The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.2847 against the euro.
In the outgoing week (June 19 – 23), the rubel fell 0.13 percent against the dollar, 1.07 percent against the euro, 0.04 percent against the Russian currency but gained 1.13 percent against the yuan.
The Belarusian currency lost 6.8 percent of its value against the dollar in the first five months.
