Belarus’ foreign minister accuses Poland of training militants

June 21, BPN. The Belarusian foreign minister accused Poland of training fighters and terrorists for armed operations in Belarus, citing a British newspaper report.

Such actions “on the part of a neighboring country, a member of the EU and NATO” are “openly hostile,” Siarhiej Alejnik told reporters on June 20 following a meeting of foreign ministers from the Collective Security Treaty Organization.

The statement came two days after The Times ran a story about Belarusian exiled opposition activists being trained at a Poznan camp.
