Rubel down against US dollar, Russian currency at BCSE

May 10, BPN. The rubel has depreciated against the US dollar to 2.8354 at the May 10 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also fell to 3.6921 per 100 Russian rubles but remained at 4.0884 per 10 Chinese yuan. It has not traded against the euro and remains at 3.192 against the European currency since May 3.

Last week (May 2-5), the rubel gained 3.31 percent versus the greenback, 2.79 percent against the yuan, and 1.86 percent against the common European currency. It fell 2.59 percent against the Russian currency.

The rubel lost 6.91 percent of its value against the dollar in the first four months of 2023.
