Łukašenka pardons 13 political prisoners

September 24, Pozirk. Alaksandar Łukašenka has signed an edit pardoning 15 people, including 13 inmates who committed extremism-related crimes, his press service reported.

Ten of those pardoned are women.

The announcement follows the release and expulsion of 25 political prisoners to Lithuania in a deal with Washington that saw the United States lift sanctions on two Belarusian companies.
