Washington sanctions Minsk-based “procurement facilitator” for Iran

May 9, Pozirk. Washington has sanctioned a company based in Belarus among 10 individuals and companies targeted in connection with the US military operation against Iran.

The Minsk-based AAT Armory Alliance, incorporated in 2021, with its CEO Mohammed Ali Tolibov, is described as “a long-standing arms procurement facilitator for Iran in Belarus” by theUS Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). The OFAC also sanctioned Belarus-based Iranian national Mohammadmahdi Maleki, an employee of Armory Alliance.

Other companies targeted are based in China, Dubai and Hong Kong.
