Rubel climbs against US dollar, euro at BCSE on August 28
August 28, Pozirk. The rubel strengthened to 2.9769 against the US dollar at the August 28 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.465 per euro but dropped to 4.1473 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.6928 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (August 18 – 22), the rubel lost 0.12 percent against the dollar and 0.24 percent against the yuan, but gained 0.28 percent against the euro and 0.49 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency gained 12.97 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2025.
