Rubel weakens at BCSE on August 5

August 5, Pozirk. The rubel has fallen to 2.9982 against the US dollar at the August 5 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency depreciated to 4.099 per 10 Chinese yuan, 3.6918 per 100 Russian rubles and 3.4606 per euro.

Last week (July 28 – August 1), the rubel lost 1.61 percent of its value against the dollar, 0.58 percent against the euro and 0.03 against the yuan but gained 0.4 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 12.97 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2025.
