Rubel strengthens against US dollar at week’s first trading session on August 4

August 4, Pozirk. The rubel has risen to 2.9921 against the US dollar at the August 4 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

The Belarusian currency rose to 4.0957 per 10 Chinese yuan. It weakened against the Russian ruble to 3.6905 per 100 Russian rubles and against the euro to 3.4446.

Last week (July 28 – August 1), the rubel lost 1.61 percent of its value against the dollar, 0.58 percent against the euro and 0.03 against the yuan but gained 0.4 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 12.97 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2025.
