Foreign minister confirms arrests of four minors allegedly recruited by Ukraine

May 6, Pozirk. Belarusian authorities arrested four persons over alleged recruitment of underage students suspected of plotting terrorist attacks on instructions from the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU), Foreign Minister Siarhiej Alejnik has told Russia’s RIA Novosti.
The state-run ONT television channel reported the arrests of youths in the documentary aired on April 29 without specifying their exact number.
Ukrainian national Maryya Mysyuk, 16, faces a terrorism-related charge, while Daniił Harasim, 19, is suspected of high treason for alleged intentions to join Belarusian volunteers fighting Russia in Ukraine.
The group allegedly includes five other minors: Trafim Barysaŭ, Dźmitryj Zacharoška, Anastasija Klimienka, Alaksandra Pulinovič and Siarhiej Žyhaloŭ. All are college students from Minsk and Brest regions.
The ONT documentary featured footage Barysaŭ’s and Žyhaloŭ’s interrogations at the detention center.
