Consumer prices up 2.2 percent since January
April 10, Pozirk. Consumer prices rose by 0.5 percent in March and by 2.2 percent since the start of 2024, the National Statistics Committee (Biełstat) reported.
Food prices rose by 2.3 percent last month; non-food, by 1.4 percent; services, by 3 percent.
Belarus reported a 5.6 percent increase in consumer prices year on year.
The government projects inflation of 6 percent for 2024.
