Rubel down against US dollar at BCSE
June 29, BPN. The rubel das depreciated against the US dollar to 3.0315 at the June 29 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
It also fell against the Chinese yuan to 4.1774 per 10 yuan but climbed against the Russian currency to 3.484 per 100 rubles.
The rubel has not traded against the European currency since June 26 and remains at 3.2836 against the euro.
Last week (June 19-23), the rubel fell 0.13 percent against the dollar, 1.07 percent against the euro and 0.04 percent against the Russian ruble, but gained 1.13 percent against the Chinese currency.
The Belarusian currency lost 6.8 percent of its value against the dollar in the first five months.
