Defense minister meets Indian counterpart, denounces sanctions on sovereign states

April 28, BPN. Belarusian Defense Minister Viktar Chrenin and his Indian counterpart Rajnath Singh have met in New Delhi, the Belarusian defense office reports.

Chrenin pointed out the friendly and constructive nature of relations between the two countries and “the unacceptability of sanctions pressure on sovereign states.”

The ministers also discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation. They noted their “interest in continuing the dialogue and implementing the outlined plans in the military sphere.”

Chrenin invited the Indian defense minister to make an official visit to Belarus.
