A Dokšycy resident detained for allegedly intending to go to Ukraine to fight against Russia

March 14, BPN. Siarhiej Hrybovič, a 53-year-old resident of Dokšycy (Viciebsk region), was detained for allegedly planning to take part in military actions against Russia on the Ukrainian side, Viasna Human Rights Center reported.

Information about Hrybovič’s detention appeared in pro-government Telegram channels. They published a video where the man says that he filled out a form via Telegram to go to Ukraine to fight against the Russian troops.

It is reported that Hrybovič is charged under two articles of the Criminal Code: 130 (incitement of racial, national, religious or other social hatred) and 3613 (participation in an armed formation or armed conflict or military actions on the territory of a foreign state).
