Rubel drops sharply against US dollar, euro, yuan at BCSE

October 6, Pozirk. The rubel has plunged to 3.0739 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency has also dropped to 3.4430 per euro and to 4.5950 per 10 yuan but climbed to 3.5870 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (September 28 – October 2), the rubel gained 0.67 percent against the dollar, 0.14 percent against the yuan and 1.75 percent against the euro, but lost 0.59 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 4.33 percent against the dollar in the first nine months of 2026.
