September 24, Pozirk. Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ryžankoŭ and his counterpart Iruthisham Adam signed a visa waiver agreement between Belarus and Maldives on the sidelines of a UN event in New York on September 23, the foreign ministry’s press office reports.
The agreement would allow citizens of Belarus and the Maldives to enter, exit and transit through the territory of the other country without visas. Visa-free stays are to be limited to 30 days per entry and 90 days per calendar year. Ryžankoŭ also met with Foreign Ministers Samuel Okudzeto of Ghana and Jeyhun Bairamov of Azerbaijan.
