Rubel drops against key currencies

September 1, Pozirk. The rubel has weakened to 3.0687 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency has also dropped to 3.5552 per euro, to 4.5871 per 10 yuan and rose to 3.5546 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (August 24 – August 28), the rubel depreciated by 2.15 percent against the dollar, 2.07 percent against the yuan and 1.64 percent against the euro but strengthened by 1.04 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 0.37 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2026.
