Montenegro to introduce visa requirement for Belarusians on November 1
July 27, Pozirk. Montenegro is to introduce a visa requirement for Belarusians on November 1 to bring its policy into line with the European Union’s rules, said the country’s foreign ministry.
The move is part of the country’s effort to meet conditions for EU membership.
The country will also introduce visa requirements for citizens of China, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
Montenegro intends to simplify visa procedures for visitors from the above-mentioned countries, including Belarus.
It will open visa centers in Armenia, Bahrain, Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Qatar and Uzbekistan.
At present, Belarusians may stay up to 30 days in Montenegro and Serbia without visas.
