June’s all-time high temperature 37.6C in Belarus

June 28, Pozirk. Belarus has recorded June’s record-breaking temperature in its 145-year history of meteorological observation involving accurate measurement tools.

June’s highest temperature, now 37.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Brest yesterday. The previous record was 37.1 reported in Akciabrski on June 23, 2021.

The June 28 day’s record was beaten by 3.3C (34.3C in Lelčycy in 2022). It was 10C to 14C colder on this day in eastern Belarus.

On June 29, temperatures may rise to 39C, according to forecasts, with temperatures expected to go down on June 30.

The country’s temperature record is 38.9C recorded in Homiel on August 8, 2010.
