Rubel up against key currencies at week’s last trading
May 8, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 2.8073 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.2903 per euro, 4.1346 per 10 yuan and 3.7798 per 100 Russian rubles.
In the outgoing week (May 4 – 8), the rubel rose by 0.69 percent against the US dollar and 0.09 percent against the yuan, but dropped by 0.07 percent against the euro and 0.16 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency gained 2.75 percent against the dollar in the first four months of 2026.
