Earlier, Marcin Bosacki, secretary of state at Poland’s foreign ministry, called Havel’s arrest a “bad signal” from Minsk, suggesting it could be either a provocation or a fabricated story.

The report claimed that he collected classified information about the counterintelligence command and its officers, military sites and the forthcoming Zapad-2025 exercise for the Internal Security Agency.
