Rubel weakens slightly against US dollar on August 1
August 1, Pozirk. The rubel has weakened to 2.9948 against the US dollar at the August 1 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
The Belarusian currency also fell to 4.1074 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.6882 per 100 Russian rubles, but rose to 3.44 against the euro.
In the outgoing week (July 28 – August 1), the rubel lost 1.61 percent of its value against the dollar, 0.58 percent against the euro and 0.03 against the yuan but gained 0.4 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency gained 12.97 percent against the dollar in the first six months of 2025.
