July 17, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Belarusian companies are interested in importing Cuban rum, cocoa beans and coffee along with the established imports of medications, Belarusian Prime Minister Raman Ha\u0142o\u016d\u010danka has told his Cuban counterpart Manuel Marrero Cruz at their meeting in Havana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarus will continue supplying Cuba with powdered milk, engineering products, spare parts and other popular goods, the Council of Ministers’ Telegram channel reported, citing him as saying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuba is resuming production of Belarusian tractors with contracts already signed to supply tractor kits to the Cuban assembly plant, Ha\u0142o\u016d\u010danka said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noting the recent registration of Cuba\u2019s lung cancer vaccine in Belarus, the official was optimistic about expanding the production of Cuban medications along with the transfer of technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though the absolute figures of bilateral trade are negligible, the countries managed to double trade last year and recorded a 20-percent increase in the first five months of 2024, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarus cherishes \u201cspecial relations with fraternal Cuba\u201d and is ready to develop all aspects of bilateral cooperation, Ha\u0142o\u016d\u010danka noted, describing ties with Havana as \u201ca strategic partnership.\u201d  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ha\u0142o\u016d\u010danka visited Venezuela prior to coming to Cuba and will travel to Nicaragua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
