June 25, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> China cannot exist without Europe, said Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka at a meeting with Hao Ping, the party secretary of Peking University, and representatives of Chinese higher education institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe agreed with Mr. Xi Jinping that if China needs it, it can use Belarus to promote its interests in Europe,” \u0141uka\u0161enka’s press office quoted him as saying. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“China is a huge country that determines the world’s weather. That is why it must cooperate with the main pillars of our planet \u2013 the USA, the European Union, Russia, India and other countries.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He did not mention that Belarus is under EU sanctions and at odds with with its EU neighbors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, Polish President Andrzej Duda discussed what he called Belarusian hybrid attacks at the Polish border with Chinese President Xi Jinping, connecting them to the transit of Chinese goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Obviously, it has consequences in terms of the overall possibility of cross-border traffic,” Duda said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I conveyed to the president the very negative attitude [of Polish society] to what the Belarusian authorities are implementing in this regard,” the Polish leader said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
