May 2, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka has signed<\/a> an edict approving the draft agreement “on a unified customs transit system of the Eurasian Economic Union and the third party (third parties).”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He authorized the State Customs Committee to negotiate the deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also today, a similar order was signed<\/a> by Russian President Vladimir Putin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In November, the Eurasian Economic Commission said<\/a> the agreement on a unified customs transit system approved by the EEC Council would simplify and optimize the transportation procedure “by reducing both the activities of control services and the overheads.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was planned to achieve this through unified means and approaches: electronic transit declarations; a system ensuring the fulfillment of the customs duty payment obligation; taxes; special, anti-dumping and countervailing duties; etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
