{"id":81410,"date":"2024-04-22T19:27:36","date_gmt":"2024-04-22T16:27:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/81410\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T20:10:49","slug":"lukasenka-signs-law-to-reduce-businesses-eligible-for-simplified-tax-accounting","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/81410\/","title":{"rendered":"\u0141uka\u0161enka signs law to reduce businesses eligible for simplified tax accounting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>April 22, <em>Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka has signed into law amendments that will force many small businesses registered as individual entrepreneurs to set up companies, pay higher taxes and adopt a more complicated accounting system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The government has until July 1 to make a list of business activities eligible for individual entrepreneurs, the Belarusian leader\u2019s press office reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Economist Ale\u015b Alachnovi\u010d criticized the bill earlier this month, stressing that an individual entrepreneur is the easiest way to start a small business because it does not require an office, an accountant or hiring other employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier reports said that the legislation would apply to tourist and legal services, cultural and entertainment events and some IT services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The number of individual entrepreneurs is expected to plunge by half to 143,500 after the legislation is signed into law, the Belarusian economy ministry estimated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bill introduces a \u201cone-day\u201d incorporation procedure for individual entrepreneurs, said the press office of the Council of the Republic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>April 22, Pozirk.
