April 7, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> Two Belarusian volunteers of the Kastu\u015b Kalino\u016dski Regiment\u2019s Vo\u0142at battalion were killed in Ukraine during a combat mission between March 25 and April 7, the regiment reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It did not disclose the identities of the soldiers and the circumstances of their deaths, citing security reasons. Farewell ceremonies for the fallen soldiers have already been held, it noted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In March, the regiment reported that it had almost 5,000 fighters and lost 19 men in the two years of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kalino\u016dski Regiment was formed in March 2022 and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Two months later, it announced the formation of two battalions, Vo\u0142at and Terror.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In September 2023, the regiment formed the Western battalion, which included \u201cofficers from NATO countries and foreign nationals with combat experience in Iraq and Afghanistan.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minsk opened a criminal investigation against the regiment, designating it as an \u201cextremist group.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
