April 5, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The Russian embassy’s minister-counselor, Petr Frolov, and the Belarusian National Bar Association’s Chairman Alaksiej \u0160vako\u016d at a meeting in Minsk have discussed the harmonization of the legal framework and the protection of rights in the Union State, the embassy reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs their integration deepens, Russia and Belarus are constantly expanding and synchronizing the bilateral legal framework for their cooperation,\u201d the report reads. Protecting the rule of law and bringing its norms and institutions into line with modern realities and challenges, \u201cboth internal and external,\u201d were noted among priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting participants also \u201chighly appreciated the bilateral Cooperation Agreement signed in October 2023 between the Russian Federal Chamber of Advocates and the Belarusian Republican Bar Association.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
