Jurhilevi\u010d told the court that she was being held in unsanitary conditions and was not allowed to study the case file.<\/p>\n<p> Investigators accused Ma\u017eejka of posting reports on Jurhilevi\u010d&#8217;s decision to resign and on a five-year prison sentence given to dissident artist Ale\u015b Pu\u0161kin on the <span>Belsat TV<\/span> website. Belarusian authorities designated it as an extremist group.<\/p>\n<p> Ma\u017eejka led a non-governmental organization called the Center of Urban Life, which was shut down by the prosecutors last year, Jurhilevi\u010d defended regime critics facing prosecution.<\/p>\n<p>They were arrested in 2022.
