May 13, BPN.<\/span><\/b> Volodymyr Zelensky has signed edicts introducing new sanctions against companies he views as accomplices in Russian aggression. The Ukrainian president has added 18 Belarusian companies to the sanctions lists. <\/p>\n

    Ukraine also blacklisted the grassroots trade union cell of the Minsk-based O.V. Roman Powder Metallurgy Institute. <\/p>\n

    The sanctions, imposed yesterday, will be in effect for 10 years.<\/p>\n

    They include an asset freeze, a ban on technology transfer, and restrictions on or termination of trade operations. These companies won\u2019t be able to transit goods through Ukraine, export capital, or participate in privatization.<\/p>\n

    Ukraine imposed the previous sanctions package on the Belarusian authorities and their collaborators on April 15.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
