April 13, BPN.<\/span><\/b> The Belarusian Ministry of Information has warned mobile operator A1 against broadcasting Setanta Sports TV channels on its VOKA online platform.<\/p>\n

A1 was instructed to “eliminate the violation according to procedure established by law.”<\/p>\n

On April 7, the information ministry said it was revoking Setanta Sports’ broadcasting license. It affects television channels Setanta Sport 1<\/span> and Setanta Sport 2<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The decision was taken by an information security commission under the aegis of the Security Council. It took effect on April 12.<\/p>\n

Setanta Sports told BPN <\/span>that the termination of the license may be connected with its position on the war in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

On March 4, Setanta Sports Ukraine announced that it would not broadcast the Dubai tennis championships’ final between Russians Andrey Rublev and Daniil Medvedev.<\/p>\n

“We make sure that our viewers enjoy watching tournaments and are inspired by the true values of sport. Glory to Ukraine!” Setanta Sports Ukraine said in a statement.<\/p>\n
