Although official statistics agency does not provide&nbsp;a&nbsp;breakdown by country, Russia accounts for the bulk of sales, the analysts noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grey exports are possible only as long as the sanctions against Belarus and Russia are not coordinated, they added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Belarus has increased&nbsp;imports from non-CIS countries and developed&nbsp;more grey schemes for supplying foreign goods to the Russian market instead of real diversification. This&nbsp;is unlikely to become the basis for long-term economic growth, the analysis stresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first seven months of 2023, Belarus&#8217; foreign trade in goods rose by 16.2 percent year on year to $47.4 billion, the National Statistics Committee (Bie\u0142stat) data says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Imports were up 22.5 percent to $24.6 billion, exceeding exports by $2.1 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trade with the CIS grew by nine percent to 28.7 billion with exports exceeding imports by 2.6 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trade with other countries increased by 29.6 percent to 18.1 billion with imports exceeding exports by 4.7 billion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>September 10,\u00a0Pozirk.\u00a0Official foreign trade data shows that Belarus is turning into a grey zone for sanctioned goods, said analysts from Na\u0161y Hro\u0161y, a project associated with the SYMPA school of public administration.
