It underscored the recent reprisals organized in the last weeks of summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, urbanist Hanna Skryhan was sentenced to two years in prison for inciting hatred on August 23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eight days later, former journalist \u0141arysa \u0160\u010dyrakova was sentenced to three-and-a-half years for discrediting Belarus and facilitating extremism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
