November 4, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>German military personnel stationed in Lithuania have begun collecting electronic intelligence that will help, in particular, detect new air defense radar stations in Belarus, Vice Admiral Thomas Daum, chief of the Bundeswehr’s Cyber and Information Domain Service, was quoted as saying by LRT<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Daum, the data will be fed into electronic warfare databases and used by other systems to identify changes in the military infrastructure of neighboring countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the report, the personnel of the German brigade being deployed in Lithuania are setting up positions for electronic warfare and reconnaissance equipment. They have already begun studying and categorizing signals originating from Belarus and Russia\u2019s Kaliningrad exclave province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus, Germany\u2019s 45th Brigade, whose full deployment is scheduled for 2027, is gradually establishing an early warning system to detect potential threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

German troops are also testing drone detection and communications jamming equipment and installing electronic jamming systems and sensors to collect and analyze intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
