{"id":208040,"date":"2026-10-19T14:59:20","date_gmt":"2026-10-19T11:59:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/208040\/"},"modified":"2026-10-19T14:59:21","modified_gmt":"2026-10-19T11:59:21","slug":"broad-money-supply-projected-to-increase-by-between-14-and-16-percent-next-year","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/208040\/","title":{"rendered":"Broad money supply projected to increase by between 14 and 16 percent next year"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>October 19, <em>Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>The broad money supply is to increase by between 14 and 16 percent in 2027, according to a directive by the National Bank of Belarus (NBB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the directive, banks\u2019 \u201cclaims on the economy\u201d will be between 11 and 13 percent, interest rates on new investment loans will be between 9.3 and 9.8 percent, the share of consumer loans for buying Belarusian-made goods will be at least 14 percent, and irrevocable fixed-term bank deposits repayable within more than three years will account for at least 10 percent of individuals\u2019 deposits with repayment periods of more than one year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, in 2027 the NBB will \u201ccontinue regulating money supply,\u201d the directive says, stressing that it will match \u201cthe real needs of the economy without causing excessive price growth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NBB notes that special attention will be given to ensuring \u201cthe reliable and secure functioning of the payment market and the provision of payment services by improving the legal basis and the oversight of payment systems, conducting oversight activities, and monitoring operations in the field of payment systems and payment services.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the NBB, banks will \u201ccontinue building a stable resource base\u201d to ensure the flow of loans to the \u201creal sector of the economy\u201d and will focus on \u201ccooperation with enterprises and the population to meet their solvent demand.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Increasing banks\u2019 lending for buying Belarusian made goods will reportedly remain the key priority of retail lending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last week, the NBB reported that cash in circulation (M0) rose by 0.9 percent in September to nearly 18 billion rubels on October 1, and the broad money supply (M3), by 1.5 percent to 117.7 billion rubels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Belarus\u2019 rubel money supply (M2) grew by 2.5 percent to 77.5 billion rubels in September, the report said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Transferable deposits saw an increase of 5 percent to nearly 25.2 billion rubels.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>October 19, Pozirk.
