October 9, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>Core inflation, which does not include changes in prices of seasonal goods, volatile or controlled prices, stood at 4.8 percent in the 12 months to September, posting the same value for four consecutive months, the Belarusian central bank reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In May, core inflation rose to 5.3 percent with a deceleration trend reported since January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last month, fruit and vegetable prices dropped by 12.2 percent after a 10.1-percent decrease in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The government-controlled prices and tariffs increased by 7 percent after 6.5 percent posted in August and July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aggregate indicator of trend inflation, which represents inflation free of the influence of various shocks, rose by 4.1 percent, accelerating from the two previous months, when it stood at 4 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consumer prices climbed by 0.5 percent in September, with a 4.6-percent increase year on year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
