An inspection found that more than half the cargo, including clothing, footwear, auto parts, electrical equipment and kitchenware, had been declared under different names, the customs agency said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Customs officers estimated their value at more than 3.3 million rubels (about $1.1 million). The carrier reportedly wanted to avoid paying customs duties, which in this case could have exceeded 220,000 rubels (nearly $72,000).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Kazakh company may face a fine equal to 30 percent of the value of the misdeclared goods.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>October 9, Pozirk.
