August 10,\u00a0Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Core inflation, which does not include changes in prices of seasonal goods, volatile or controlled prices, stood at 4.8 percent in the 12 months to July, posting the same value as in June, the Belarusian central bank reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In May, core inflation amounted to 5.3 percent with a deceleration trend reported since January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last month, fruit and vegetable prices dropped by 10.8 percent after a 11.5-percent decrease in June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The government-controlled prices and tariffs increased by 6.5 percent after 6.6 percent posted last month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aggregate indicator of trend inflation, which represents inflation free of the influence of various shocks, rose by 4 percent, decelerating from June, when it stood at 4.1 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consumer prices climbed by 0.3 percent in July, with a 4.4-percent increase year on year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
