August 3, Pozirk<\/em>. <\/strong>The Investigative Committee has sent the case of a man accused of murdering and raping teenage girls and young women in Belarus between 1996 and 1999 to a prosecutor to be referred to court for trial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The suspect has fully confessed to his crimes, committed in the Mahilo\u016d, Viciebsk and Minsk regions, the Investigative Committee reported. He said that victims just happened to cross his path, and that he stopped killing for fear of being caught. The exact number of his alleged victims remains undisclosed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The man allegedly stalked teenagers and young women near apartment buildings, targeting those who were obese and unable to offer physical resistance in elevators, stairwells, and on rooftops. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
