{"id":198070,"date":"2026-07-31T16:48:35","date_gmt":"2026-07-31T13:48:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/198070\/"},"modified":"2026-07-31T16:48:37","modified_gmt":"2026-07-31T13:48:37","slug":"international-hockey-federation-clears-belarusian-teams-to-compete","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/198070\/","title":{"rendered":"International Hockey Federation clears Belarusian teams to compete"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>July 31, <em>Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has allowed Belarusian teams to participate in its competitions with immediate effect, the Belarusian Ministry of Sports and Tourism said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decision comes after the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) barred Belarus\u2019 national team from competing in the 2027 Men\u2019s and Junior World Championships, citing safety and security concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FIH reportedly linked its move to recommendations issued by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in early May.
