July 31, Pozirk.<\/em> <\/strong>The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) has not allowed Belarus\u2019 national team to participate in the 2027 Men\u2019s and Junior World Championships citing safety and security concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ban does not seem to apply to women\u2019s teams. Hockey.by reported in May that Belarus\u2019 women\u2019s teams were allowed to participate in the 2027 world\u2019s championships, but the IIHF does not say it in its statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The statement<\/a> says that the IIHF Council considered each competition separately, but would not detail its decisions on the Women\u2019s World Championship 2027 Division IV, U18 Men\u2019s World Championship 2027 and U18 Women\u2019s World Championship 2027 Division III.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
