The reasons for the arrest and their current whereabouts remain unknown.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Authorities released lawyer Alaksandar Danilevi\u010d after he had served four years of his six-year prison term, Viasna said.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Juryj Ka\u015bciu\u010denka, a graduate student at Belarusian National Technical University, was deprived of a prestigious scholarship administered by Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka, zerkalo.io reported. Earlier this year, a man with the same name was tried on extremism-related charges and branded as an \u201cextremist.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As of July 23, human rights defenders identified at least 864 political prisoners, including at least 29 sentenced to prison terms exceeding 20 years.
