July 14, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> The Belarusian Committee for State Security (KGB) and the interior ministry branded the Kamaro\u016dka e-commerce platform established by exiled Belarusians as an \u201cextremist\u201d group, says the updated register on the interior ministry\u2019s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another addition includes the Belarusian special forces unit 1514 formed in September 2024 as part of the special forces under the main intelligence directorate at Ukraine\u2019s defense ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarusian authorities named Andrej Trace\u016dski, Stanis\u0142a\u016d \u0160a\u0161ko and Kiry\u0142 Ba\u0142achona\u016d as members of the 1514 unit, while D\u017amitryj Zavadski, Volha Kasian\u010duk and Ksienija Kamenka were listed as linked to Kamaro\u016dka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official list of \u201cextremist\u201d groups by the Belarusian KGB and interior ministry now contains 376 entries. The actual number of designated groups is 360, as some are mentioned several times in different contexts. Sixty-one of the listed groups are media outlets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the crackdown on the 2020 postelection protests, authorities in Belarus have equated criticism, solidarity, advocacy, the free media and free expression to extremism and terrorism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
